Seefeld is located about 22 km west from Innsbruck on 1.200 m height with a healthy climate and sunny position and can be easily reached from Germany, Italy and Switzerland. You have a wonderful view around the surrounding Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains, the central Alps and the Hohe Munde. Seefeld is renowned in the whole world for its superb sports infrastructure. In 1964 and 1976 the Olympic cross country and ski-jumping competitions and in 1985 the Nordic World Championships were held in Seefeld.
